I have over 7 years of experience in robotics, beginning in middle school with VEX IQ Team 83 and continuing through high school with both VEX VRC (Teams 1138 and 599) and FRC, where I developed a strong foundation in engineering design, programming, and competitive problem-solving. As I progressed, I became more involved in the full development cycle, from brainstorming concepts and iterating on mechanisms to troubleshooting mechanical and software systems under competition pressure, which led to my induction into the Robotics Honors Society in recognition of my technical contributions and leadership. Now, as a member of Illini VEX Robotics at UIUC, I work on complex robot systems at the collegiate level, applying skills in CAD (Fusion 360 and SolidWorks), mechanical design, rapid prototyping, and system integration, while also strengthening my ability to collaborate within teams, manage projects, and take designs from initial concept to reliable, competition-ready systems under real-world constraints.
